TikTok is a social platform known for its playful content that often sets internet trends and among the many topics explored, cinema has always stood out.
In collaboration with AKQA+, we developed an illustration and motion system to promote the #TikTokMadeMeWatch curation tab, creating a vibrant visual language tailored specifically for film-related content on the platform.
The modular system was designed around expressive eyes that could be endlessly customized to reflect different themes and cinematic genres, bringing flexibility and uniqueness to the visual identity.
This motion-driven language extended to the editing and visual composition of the #Klaket program, hosted on TikTok by renowned film critic Isabela Boscov, ensuring a consistent and dynamic aesthetic across the channel’s video content.
